Nabil Adhami

Nabil’s leadership of the team brings a special sensitivity and responsiveness to this unique practice, bringing a fresh breath of Arabic and Australian aesthetics to Canberra. Nabil Adhami Architect graduated from the University of Canberra with a major in interior architecture, has also studied in Finland and Thailand. His experience includes work on the recent design competition for the Kuwait Embassy, renovation at the Norwegian and Mexican Embassies, construction administration of the recently completed Prime Minister & Cabinet department building, retail, commercial, defence, and many forms of housing.

Anna Pender

Anna Pender, Sydney University medallist and Fulbright Scholar, worked in the USA and on Parliament House and TGA buildings in Canberra before establishing a practice in 1988. With over 20 years of experience, Anna has worked on a wide range of projects that have included Embassies, Police Station, Health Facilities, Schools, Childcare centres, educational, recreational buildings and boutique homes with a focus on passive solar and ecological design. Anna brings a grounding force to the practice, with much wisdom that is greatly appreciated by current and past clients.

Mariam Jomaa

Mariam Jomaa begun studying architecture at the Sydney University and is currently completing a Masters in architecture at the University of Canberra. Mariam’s Eastern influenced approach to interior design and architecture fuses beautifully with the current functional aesthetics of our built environment. Mariam plays a very important role in the studio as a designer, managing support staff, and preparing interior and architectural design proposals.

Studio Support

Our support team represent a diverse group of energetic people with many interests in life and a strong dedication to architecture, art, science, community, and academia. Lisa Goodisson has completed studies in Building Design, and has special expertise in health and welfare. Momo Aradi is a graduate architect and photographer who is responsible for the majority of photography on our projects, also assists in graphic submissions and team building exercises. Sultan Fahiz, a student with interests in Music and Philosophy, has exceptional three-dimensional modelling skills and keeps us up to date with current technology.
